Have you guys seen this hot mess?
During a press conference, Ron DeSantis claimed that slaves benefited from slavery because many learned a skilled trade like black smithin’. Jesse Watters backed him up on Fox News by telling Vice President Kamala Harris to tone it down when she angrily denounced this trash, and rightfully so.
Watters response? Essentially, “Hey now, li’l missy—no one was saying slavery was good for Blacks; we are just kinda saying there was a good side to slavery. Yah know. To appease our white guilt.”
FYI to these so-called men, you can admit slavery was wrong, no guilt required. But no, not only do they want to spew this filth, they want to teach it in Florida schools.

And no, I do not need to hold back or be kind to people who spew this nonsense. Fuck that! That is how we wind up in chains once more.
As one of my favorite atheist speakers, Matt Dillahunty, once said, I don't care if slaves were given rainbows, unicorns, and lollipops every damn day; no one should own another person as property.
