USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll has OH Issue 1 Losing Big... [1]

A new poll from USA TODAY and Suffolk University has Issue 1 going down big 57-26% with 17% undecided. “The poll of 500 likely Ohio voters, conducted July 9 to 12, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.” The Cincinnati Enquirer link below has all the details…

There has been massive tv ads from the NO side with little coming from the supporters of the Issue. The problem for the YES side is the significant opposition from republicans and Independents. “The poll suggests those nuances exist among Ohio voters. Democrats are more likely to oppose Issue 1, but 41% of Republicans, 60% of independents and 41% of Ohioans who voted for President Donald Trump in 2020 said they're also against it. Conversely, 13% of Democrats and 12% of President Joe Biden's supporters said they back the issue.”
The election is Aug 8 with polls open from 6:30AM until 7:30PM. In the meantime, in-person and absentee voting continues in all 88 county voting centers. Turnout has been been way up compared to the May primary earlier this year.
