SOMETHING THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW [1]

I don’t have cable any more. I miss a few channels. I don’t miss the bills.
I really don’t miss Fox News, and paying exorbitant fees for Fox News. But, as, once, I was paying for it, I did, on occasion, watch it.
Not for long, because I would wind up yelling at the TV, which was counterproductive, and scared my cats. But I did get to see Jesse Waters, and I learned about his Achilles heel.
When Waters was sent out on “gotcha” interviews to various parts on the nation. He talked to all kinds of people, in all kinds of places, and it was obvious to anyone who saw him, that the new host for the 8 p.m. slot on Fox is afraid of anything with four legs that isn’t furniture.
Watch some of his old shows, if you can stand them. He shrank from a nutria, a large rodent that has become an invasive species on the Gulf Coast.
He’s nervous around dogs. He won’t go near horses. He’s skittish around pigeons!.
If he met a rabbit, he’d run like a rabbit.
Some people are just like that. They grow up without pets. They don’t go to the zoo. They’re told animals are dirty and dangerous.
We had a neighbor, when I was younger, who was sure all dogs carried rabies, because her mother had told her so. She was terrified of our very genial standard poodle, who had, of course, been vaccinated, and never bit anything higher on the evolutionary scale than a kielbasa .
She was a nice lady. I was sorry for her.
Jesse Waters is a mean spirited, small minded, pseudo journalist, whose stock in trade is slander and innuendo. If he exits, pursued by a chihuahua, I will not feel sorry for him. Though, I may have some sympathy for the chihuahua.
I am hoping we may be treated to the spectacle of Fox News latest star fleeing from a Maltese terrier or a cute little kitten. I’m not picky.
But, I do think the world should know that Jesse Waters is scared of all creatures great and small. Guests on his show should be sure to bring their therapy animals, service animals, and, maybe slip a hamster in their pockets.
Fox’s newest star has an Achilles heel. He’ll run from a pigeon, which are plentiful in New York. It would be interesting to see what he’d do if he encountered one of New York’s famous sewer rats.
Let’s hope he encounters lots of them in his new career.
