New Ad: Ron DeSantis Ruins Pizza! [1]

Those of you who follow UK politics may recall Ed Miliband’s unsuccessful run for Prime Minister bin 2015. And how many feel that campaign ran aground do to a single photo of Miliband eating eating a bacon sandwich. There’s even an entire Wikipedia article just about this incident:

We’d love to accomplish the same ends with this video (!) of Ron DeSantis eating pizza in a truly disgusting manner.

At Permanent Majority, we feel one of the problems in communicating in the current 24/7 news cycle is the simple fact that stories die. A day or two passes and then we’re on to the next one. So, we think it’s important to not only make ads on the news of the week. But create ads that can be returned to again and again. Scenes and images that we will use in subsequent ads. So, viewers simply cannot forget them.

Also, the value of an ad like this is not inherently political. Everyone will find it disgusting. (Sure, in the video description, we compare his disgusting policies to his disgusting eating.) And, so, it has a better chance of sticking in the memory of anyone. Even those who might consider voting for the political abomination. And make them think otherwise.
