This is the Thursday I’ve been warning you about. It’s orientation day, at Very Important University!
By which I mean, college kid #2’s home for the next few years, come this fall. So the whole KITM World Headquarters staff is on hand for the “festivities.”
I’ve been scrambling to put together some material for next week’s vacation, and I wanted to save what I’ve gotten recorded so far for that. That left me looking for a re-run — or “Encore Performance, a term lifted from Howard Stern — to use for today.
Normally, I like to pull last year’s show from the same date, but as it turns out, I was away from the mic last year on July 13th as well! So I chose the July 14, 2022 show, because we actually spent some time explaining where we were the day before. And now it’s a thing.
Ah, memories!
