Did you know that sometimes there are “normal” KITMs? David Waldman and Greg Dworkin give us one last taste of normalcy before cutting us off for a week or so. Don’t fret, David has some (comparatively) weird stuff to spring on us in the meantime!
Threads is so crowded that nobody goes there anymore. Except for those 100 million subscribers. There are more unique, focused, offbeat, and pure hideouts out there for sure. Certainly, those would be less commercialized. Though there is something to be said about the gravitational pull of a mass that big. What you are Looking for at Threads will probably end up there, soon. (As will the whiners.)
All of Meta’s success means of course bad news for Meta.
Has the Freedom Caucus had too much of a bad thing? Is Marjorie Traitor Greene really over and done there? Roger that! Former Representative, continuing Q-nut Mayra Flores is back to lose some more. Still, inmates still run the House asylum, and Kevin McCarthy is crazy if he thinks otherwise. The mob is out for blood, impeachments and Christopher Wray. If criminals and spies want to grab torches and pitchforks, that’s ok by them.
Over at the Supreme Court they are sick and tired of the appearance of graft, corruption and lack of propriety in their midst and have placed Justice Sonia Sotamayor in stocks out front.
Voting confidence is down among Republicans. Apparently, there is only so much lying they can take, even when it is them lying to themselves. The Liberal Patriot polls have some good news for President Joe Biden. Well, good enough news. It could be better. Inflation has gone down 12 months… Bidenomics baby! Joe is also clearing the Trump junk out of Obamacare.
Ukraine is hoping their NATO membership is approved soon, while Sweden is already causing headaches for Russia. The only ones who have it worse are Russian pundits.
