From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank the Daily Kos community for their unwavering support throughout my primary election.

From day one, I knew this was going to be a grassroots effort. It was never going to be easy to defeat a sitting State Senator, and I knew that in order to be effective, I would need to bring together a coalition of grassroots supporters based on our shared values.

Every dollar, every door knocked, phone call made, and text message sent brought us a little bit closer to winning the election. In a race where reproductive care was on the line not just in Virginia, but across the entire South East United States. This was always so much bigger than just me and this win truly belongs to everyone.
