Okay. I knew this was a secret red flag warning kind of thing. Also, the same 5 donations scroll above the top of the site to create momentum and I started thinking something was up.
So, I closed every pop up that asked for my phone number so Doug could personally text me. $20 is not $100K. Just saying, I value my privacy.
That's also why I did not a tip with my $1 donation. If someone looks at the credit card receipt they might think a charge to WinRed was an unsavory thing. Can never be too careful nowadays!
Plus, I'm retired so I didn't have to give him the name of my employer. You think they might not give me some of the $100,000 dollars this guy is giving away because of that?
Unless you think he really just wanted my phone number, name and address, and email address to send me tens of millions of dollars worth of campaign materials?
Well, either way, postal carriers are going to make a lot of overtime thanks to me. So even if I don't get my $20, I did a good thing.
I even created a special rule in my email client so all the emails from Doug, WinRed, Conservatives, Republics, My Pillow and all the other special issues mails go right into the special mailbox I created so I don't have to waste a second of time looking for them.
