Yeah, Casey DeSantis Is Just A Regular Mom Defending Her Children. /s. [1]

So Ron DeSantis sucks so badly at the whole human interaction thing when it comes to voters that his campaign decided to use their secret weapon for humanizing Ron to said voters: Casey DeSantis cut a political ad for her “fighter” husband. It’s for his latest swing through Trumpland in Iowa, and Casey is in charge of “Mamas for DeSantis.” Supposedly, there was this “grassroot” uprising to protect “our children” from the evils of Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci.
Here is the ad:

When you come after our kids, we fight back.

We are Mamas for DeSantis.

And the ad is similar to but not as “jarring” as the homoerotic/homophobic ad attacking Trump for supposedly being nice to transgender people. The difference is that the background music is sinister but not like the sledge hammer used in Ron’s latest ad. By the way, there is homophobia in this ad too.
However, and not to be a fashion critic, there is something out of place with this latest DeSantis tour of Iowa. I’m a leisure or comfort kind of guy, which means I am mostly in old jeans or shorts with chlorox stains and “man’s shirts” that are old and ragged with some holes. And here we have Casey DeSantis in a T-shirt with “Mamas for DeSantis” and camoflauge pants, which is supposed to make her an “average Mom.”
Except for those high heels.
Keep in mind, I have all the fashion sense of an elderly beach bum. But the high heels and who she is standing with — Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds — SCREAMS that she is not some regular or average mom. How many regular moms get their picture taken with the governor of Iowa?
Oh, and those regular moms in Florida led on all that fascist agenda? I don't think so. It was all Ron DeSantis and a compliant legislature that foisted all the recent fascism in Florida on their citizens.
And by the way, Casey DeSantis is not some prop of the campaign. She has been described as the so called brains of the DeSantis outfit. And if that is the case, this ad is all on her, along with those out of place high heels.
Why are you so fixated on the high heels Merlin? You have a kink fetish about high heels? No. The DeSantis high heels reminds me of another politician who lacked any empathy and was a cold fish on the campaign trail. I was thinking about Richard M. Nixon.
I don’t think I have to remind everyone of the lies and law breaking of Nixon. The only real emotion that Nixon ever showed was his resentment of other better politicians. Everything about Nixon was a facade and based on lies to compensate for his shriveled soul.
I don’t know whose bright idea it was to photograph a “relaxing Nixon” in 1969, but this is the enduring image we got:

This picture reminded me of the awful image of my deceased Dad visiting a North Carolina beach with me. My Dad never went into the water. He had on a bathing trunck, and his large paunch was visible for all to see. But I will never forget that my Dad wore WINGTIPS.
What was it with older men and wingtips?
Anyway, I digress…
But I was able to do a mental link between the lame attempts to humanize both Ron and Casey DeSantis. I know this sounds a lot like some of the terrible shit we get shoveled to us from the MSM. Instead of looking at policies, we get so called fluff pieces and the political horse race.
But I cannot help to link DeSantis policies to the the married couple who are jeaopardizing the lives of women with their six week abortion ban. Their banning of books and censorship of American history. Their persecution of the LGBTQ+ community. And the use of the state government to attack their political enemies.
The personalities of the DeSantis’s reflects the dehumanizing agenda that they have pushed in Florida.
Anyway, keep up the good work trying to fool everyone else that you are a regular mama Casey DeSantis.
