Then, on the rest of the menu, for years the mayor of an Oregon Coast city has posted racist, homophobic and violent memes on a Facebook group for law enforcement; a federal judge found Washington state in contempt for not providing services to mentally ill people in jails; and, with pregnancy-related deaths soaring in the state and across the nation, Idaho disbanded its Maternal Mortality Review Committee.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where protests grow as Israel’s far-right government advances with its judicial overhaul; and, Switzerland will import more cheese than it exports this year for the first time in the Alpine country’s history.
