Oceangate Titan Glued Together! [1]

I ran across a very interesting vid on youtube just now with an interview with the Oceangate CEO while the sub was literally being glued together. It points out at one point all other deep submersibles have welded hulls, and that the way the Titan was glued together had pretty much no quality control being done by hand, and without any way to check the seals.

At one point in the process Rush says “this is the point of no return” and he’s smiling and happy but watching it this is a foreshadowing of his flippant way of operating and his own death.
