Here we go again.

Bonnie Raitt, at number 100:

So smooth, so sensitive, so sad.

How did that song end up at number 100?

Elton John, at number 43:

Elton John is one of those who pretty much never makes a bad or mediocre song.

Sophie B. Hawkins, at number 34:

I like the first word in the title:

Damn!

Celine Dion, at number 28:

Celine Dion is always a class act.

Patti Smyth and Don Henley, at number 22:

I like collaboration songs.

Jon Secada, at number 10:

Smooth, mellow, love ballad.

En Vogue, at number 7:

Hey! This is our song, to sing to Donald J. Trump, as he craves the Presidency!

You’re never gonna get it!

Vanessa Williams, at number 4:

Okay, that song made me cry, loud and hard, through the whole song!

My wife, who died a year and four months ago, was a Black woman named Williams, Tonia Williams.

And, she had the most awful boyfriends, before I came along. I saved the best for last, from her point of view.

(Crying is a healthy part of my grief journey, seems to me.)

Okay, I will stop posting songs now.

Your turn.
