Ammo dumps blowing up never get old. Ammo Dump Jesus approves.

This tweet from Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazansky says “Strong detonations are heard even in nearby Krasnodon and Molodogvardeysk. This is a deep rear. Haven't flown there yet.It seems that the shell hunger of the Russian army will intensify a little in the near future.”

x В оккупированном Суходольске Луганской области прилет в склад б/к.

Сильные детонации слышат даже в расположенных рядом Краснодоне и Молодогвардейске. Это глубокий тыл. Туда еще не прилетало.

There are numerous reports — originating from Russian sources — that Ukraine tried to attack the Kerch Bridge with a cruise missile and that Russia shot it down. This might be true (highly doubtful) or it might be just trigger happy Russian air defense shooting at birds.

Maybe they were shooting at the tornado.

What is true is that bridge traffic continues to be snarled.

x Russian media report a large traffic jam at the entrance to Kerch bridge from Krasnodar region. It has started three days ago.

The traffic jam is about 13km long. Reportedly, it is due to thorough security checks of those who want to enter Crimea. pic.twitter.com/LiJYD2uLYb — Anton Gerashchenko (@Gerashchenko_en) July 3, 2023

Speaking of the bridge, Ukraine acknowledged what everyone already knew — that it was Ukraine who blew up the bridge last October. No details, though, on how it was done, although it is pretty solid that it was a truck bomb.

x #Ukraine officially recognized the attack on the #Crimean bridge?

"273 days since the first strike was made on the Crimean bridge to disrupt #Russian logistics," wrote Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, summing up 500 days of a full-scale war.

I think the last choice is the correct one — they were ordered to stand their ground at all cost — and it ended up costing them.

x UAF gunners destroy a Russian D-30 cannon with counterbattery fire from what appears to be a 120mm mortar. If true, one needs to ask how a mortar team with a max range of 8 km got that close to a D-30 with a range of 15 to 21 km. My guess is the guns are worn out and/or the crews… pic.twitter.com/h8Ltwl2l1f — OSINT (Uri) 🇺🇦 (@UKikaski) July 9, 2023

Whatever that was, it was obliterated.

-------------------------------------------------------—

One of the cold realities of a war like this one is what to do with the dead bodies left behind by the Russians.

WARNING: This video shows dead Russians.

x The #Bakhmut AO is covered with dead Russians. Putin's plan is to literally fill the trenches with ChMobiks until Ukraine runs out of ammunition. The "Ghost Mobilization" in Russia is underway and there is no time to properly train the conscripts so Russian is in a death spiral… pic.twitter.com/E8NMUkr10d — OSINT (Uri) 🇺🇦 (@UKikaski) July 8, 2023

Some prudent advice to keep in mind when reading anything about the war.

x 500 days of war.

500 days of GeoConfirmed project.

One big warning:

It is essential to be cautious about the information, assumptions, and conclusions shared on social media.

After 500 days, 500 days of GeoConfirmed data, we can conclude that many people are trying to use… pic.twitter.com/g6c3EpxgRm — GeoConfirmed (@GeoConfirmed) July 9, 2023

If you follow an account that makes (bold) claims (if it has 10 or 100,000 followers doesn't matter) always look to the history of it: What is the expertise? How good were the previous assumption/conclusions? Does it make sense what is written? Does it has a scientific basis? Why would this account come to this conclusion? Important one: Can this be proven in the future? (It's unbelievable how dumb some people are: making claims that easily can be proven with commercial satellite imagery or with geolocation.)

Good fortune has smiled upon the people of the Central African Republic.

x Hundreds of Wagner troops are leaving the Central African Republic & senior sources say they are refusing to sign contracts with Russia's Ministry of Defence.

I suppose a dog being treated with kindness would be considered sensitive to certain Russians online.

At least this one hasn’t been flagged yet.

Good idea to hide the grenades, unless Mavic wants to drop them on some Russians.

x Ukrainian Defenders adopted a crow. They named him Mavic and make sure that he is healthy and happy.

Mavic has a mischievous side, so they keep the grenades hidden!

I think he reflects the Ukrainian spirit somehow!
