Say what? Oklahoma Ed official says Tulsa Massacre not racist [1]

Words fail.
We just had Michelle Bachman crawl out from under a rock to proclaim “slavery is not a sin” and now we have Ryan Walters, Oklahoma Secretary for Public Instruction dismiss the Tulsa Massacre that resulted in hundreds of African Americans murdered and their homes and businesses burned to the ground by raging white mobs as not a racist act of terror.

“So I would say you be judgmental of the issue, of the action, of the content, of the character of the individual, absolutely. But let’s not tie it to the skin color and say that the skin color determined it.”
This is Oklahoma’s Secretary of Public Instruction. Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
Btw, it is called the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921 because it was based on race. Mobs of white residents sanctioned by the city of Tulsa and the local KKK chapter rampaged the streets of Greenwood for two days, destroying an affluent suburb that was home to the African American population. When it was over, an estimated 300 African Americans were killed, 800 injured, and 10,000 rendered homeless. 35 city blocks were reduced to rubble. The scars from that horrifying period of time still run deep.

In 1996, 75 years after the massacre, a bipartisan group in the state legislature authorized the formation of the Oklahoma Commission to Study the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921. The commission's final report, published in 2001, states that the city had conspired with the racist mob.
Maybe, this piece of work should read what his own state’s commission found during its investigation. Digging a bit more deeply, Walters is not just a racist creep, he is deeply corrupt and vindictive and is the subject of an audit that found he had stiffed hundreds of low income families from educational aid. Unsurprisingly, he is also a Trump bootlicker and a M4L darling. An oh, a tinfoil adherent of the Q-itty Litter conspiracy. Looks like he might be impeached just like his idol, the Orange Cloaca.
