Another Saturday Night - Your Guilty Pleasures [1]

Welcome to another Saturday night of music, memories, and conversations. Last week we celebrated America/Patriotism and our need to make it more representative for all. Quite the thoughtful exercise.

This week we're going to lighten the mood by posting Your Guilty Pleasures.

Music that is maybe cringe worthy, dorky, wrong and or stupid fun.

But...you secretly (or not so secretly) enjoy it.

No judging. One persons Yuk!, may be another's Yum~!

So be brave peeps! Be Kind! Have FUN~! What do you groove to when alone, or no ones watching?

I’m (not) embarrassed, here are some of mine...

Captain & Tennille- “MUSKRAT LOVE”

The ultimate inebriated Karaoke duet tune. Saccharin sweet and sappy. Hard to get through without cracking each other and the crowd, up.

The Darkness - “Get Your Hands Off My Woman”

Like most of The Darkness’s other tunes, they just flat out ROCK! But the falsetto, the bad brit teeth, the glam and the fact the band isn’t afraid to admit to parody, makes them a guilty pleasure for me. I’ll blare their tunes in my Miata, but when I get up to a light...I turn them down.

Aesop Rock - “Long Legged Larry”

Just a great happy story and catchy chorus. Like all of Aesop’s tunes. But silly as heck!!! You too will root, bob your head and fist pump along with the rest of us. :^)
