What is a good price to pay for Democracy? [1]

Short, Sweet, To the Point.

It has been reported that the investigations into TFG by Jack Smith has cost the tax payers around $9,000,000.00. Some may say that is a lot of money. Some might see that as excessive. Republicans are definitely going to be trying to use that number in an effort to kill the investigations. But the truth is that 9-million is nothing when it comes to protecting our Democracy. I personally would say that I will pay my fare share of the taxes for that, hell, even at triple the cost it is a steal when the alternative is Fascism and TFG not paying for his crimes. Your thoughts?
