If I can, I like to sleep in.
Why does a hedgehog hog all the hedges? (punchline requested)
However, in the morning I have responsibilities. My hoomins like to go for walks. I always go with them to keep an eye on them (actually, I like walks too).
I know my hoomins are ready when they pull out their sneaks.
As far as I am concerned, sneaks make pretty good chew toys. My hoomins disagree. We have come to an understanding.
The first thing we do is check the yard for intruders. We have bunnies and squirrels (fun to chase) and coyotes and fishers (scary!). If that wasn't enough, we now also have bobcats!

I am ready in case we run into scary animals. Here is my intimidating look.
The flattened ears make me extra-menacing.
What do you think? Intimidating? I thought so.
On our walk, the hoomins we meet like to give tummy rubs. This works out great because I like tummy rubs.
The best part of our walks is seeing my pals. There is Mo Mo, Remy, Raisin, and Tucker just to name a few.
If you come on one of our walks, I will introduce you!
P.S. I have received feedback and questions about my previous posts. Like, remember when I said that I didn’t think I could learn anything from a rope? Well, plenty of hoomins set me straight on that!
This one’s called a Monkey’s Fist. But the rope is called a “line”. Confusing!
Keep those questions and comments coming! What about the occasional ‘Ask Amy’ column?
#Amy’sgettingfullofherself :)
Have a splendid weekend Peeps!
