Prigozhin visiting St Petersburg and maybe Moscow today? What gives? [1]

Robyn Dixon and Catherine Belton’s “Mercenary boss returned to Russia to collect money and guns” in today’s Washington Post is reporting that Wagner mercenary leader Yevgeniy Prigozhin is back in Russia, has collected $110 million in rubles that had been seized from his home, and has retrieved his personal weapons back from the Russian interior ministry special police.

Okaaaayyy. So how does this square with Putin calling the Wagner rebels “traitors”?

The sources for the Washington Post story are Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko and an unnamed St Petersburg businessman. Lukashenko said that Prigozhin may even have flown to Moscow today.
