Happy July 4th Boxing Day!

It’s only fair. We’ve done the Eastern Orthodox thing a thousand times. Besides, it’s seasonally appropriate to have fun at the expense of the British right now.

It was nice to take a day off, even if it meant playing a re-run of us finding out that there had been a mass shooting at a July 4th parade.

This year was not much different, in the sense that we certainly didn’t escape the mass shooting problem. It just wasn’t as splashy a story as last year’s. And we are very demanding when it comes to getting us to pay attention to a mass shooting these days.

Greg Dworkin will be here to round up the rest of the news, when we return from our big break to remember and celebrate the achievements of the Continental Army in taking over all the airports.
