I am inclined to believe this optimistic YouTube Video [1]

This YouTube channel may be a bit over-optimistic, but it is clear that Ukraine is making gains in the direction of Klishchiivka. The attempt is to threaten encirclement of a Russian strongpoint, thus forcing withdrawal from that position. Methodical but well orchestrated Ukrainian attacks seem to be accomplishing that goal, albeit slowly.
Yesterday’s video, the one where a wounded Russian soldier appears to be preparing a grenade and is shot by a Ukrainian, is from the operation near Klishchiivka. It does seem that substantial progress is being made. The War in Ukraine video reports that Russians are evacuating the strongest point on the southwest of Bakhnut to avoid encirclement. If so, that will put Bakhmut itself in danger of encirclement. There’s a long way to go before that happens, but there does not seem to be an extensive defense in depth behind Klishchiivka.
I’m crossing my finger on this and awaiting further developments. One thing is for sure: we will not hear about it until a couple of days after it happens.
