The Wall St Journal has a story about Jack Smith going after Trump’s lawyers (what a delicious prospect), with grist enough for 3 or 4 posts.
Federal prosecutors also recently interviewed Rudy Giuliani, who served as Trump’s personal lawyer at the time, for roughly eight hours on topics including (Sidney) Powell, people familiar with the testimony said.
Oh, really, how is she?
Prosecutors questioned Giuliani about the role of another lawyer, John Eastman.
Him too?
Giuliani and Eastman were central figures in the so-called war room at the Willard hotel in downtown Washington, where some of Trump’s most loyal advisers worked to overturn the 2020 election results.
The Willard War Room is where the FBI Special Agent in Charge, Washington Office, said there was nothing to see. I don’t know if the J6 Committee ever got Trump’s phone logs, with all the calls between him and there, that day. I suspect not. And now Smith’s giving “Queen For A Day” immunity to a “central” figure in the whole affair. That might be the most promising line in the entire article.
I wish there was more to report. But perhaps that can be addressed in the Poll.
