PBSNewshour host Geoff Bennett makes several unfounded claims about the guilt of the remaining "detainees" at Gitmo which is biased against the detainees. The UN Special Rapporteur Fionnuala Ni Aolain skillfully pares those biasedly framed questions and explains how torturing men in captivity is against international and US laws and conventions. Not only that but she explains that it is a disservice to the victims of 9/11 to for the US to use the methods of torture to extract “information” from men who were captured at the beginning years of the so called “War on Terror”. She tells Bennett that any information obtained by those methods would be inadmissible in a trial.
