The Russians have set charges around the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power plant. The largest Nuclear power plant in Europe. If allowed to proceed with the demolition would be among the worst crimes against humanity ever perpetrated and a crime against the planet Earth itself. It rivals a damn plot in a Superman movie. Lex Luther is threatening to blow up the Nuclear plant or in this case four Nuclear Power plants. This is a grave moment for Europe, and the silence is deafening. Rest assured, there’s a lot of talking going on but nothing on the record and god no, nothing on camera.
If allowed to occur, it would be a crime to have not tried to stop it before it ever happened. By any means necessary. Because they can’t stop it because it’s not a crime until they start to do it. Now is a time for all good men to shut the hell up. A dangerous Cuban missile Crisis moment here. Nuclear engineers can’t ever out design human madness out of the machine. So much for safe nukes. Nobody ever threatened the solar array or threatened to knock down the wind farm.
Millions of innocent Men women and children are being held hostage at nuclear gun point. Threatened with irrevocable damage, harm, and potentially deadly effects. Four Chernobyl’s all going up all at once with the effects crossing central Europe and the UK. Stories are emerging that US intelligence was several days ahead on the Prigozhin Coup. Did that info come from home or from an allied source? Sounds like they’ve got them bugged six ways from Sunday. Not surprising. That’s our tax dollars at work. I’d rather know and be wrong than not know and be right.
Back at home there is much silence. Everyone smiles, and waves like everything is normal when it ain’t. So that all that is left in town is the “don’t know no better” crowd of the Congressional Jerry Springer show. Lauren Boebert and Maggie Traitor Greene are squaring off and having a good old-fashioned down-home, hair pulling tit punching, Red neck bar Southern girl fight. She copied off of me! I came up with the idea of impeaching Joe Biden for nothing first! And she copied off me!
Yeah well, when I introduced my phony-baloney impeachment papers and you were supposed to Co-sponsor it and like it on Facebook, and you didn’t do either ya bitch.
Why, that would be stupid as hell you old skank! Why would I Cosponsor a bill in competition with my own? Didn’t they teach you anything growing up in that trailer park Ricky?
Oh Yeah! I’m not the one going through an ugly divorce sweetheart. Teach your man come hunting at home and you won’t have to go hunting your man. (rhymes’ with) Ya runt face!
Meanwhile, the fuse burns close to nuclear apocalypse. If the Zaporizhzhia plant is allowed to be destroyed our NATO Allies would quickly invoke article four and five of the NATO treaty and all bets are off Katy bar the door we’re in a nuclear shooting war. Do we respond in kind and attack Russian cities with total destruction? Do we get involved preemptively to try and stop it? Like the climax of any good James Bond film, the attack helicopters at dawn coming to save the day. Or do we do nothing, hide under our desks and hope that it all sorts itself out amicably?
Hence, the silence of a high stakes’ nuclear poker game. What if he’s not bluffing? What if the little trolly has finally left the tracks and isn’t expected back at the reality station anytime real soon? Putin has lost the war and now knows it. That’s his problem and he can’t un lose the war. NATO can’t help him un lose the war. So, just as it appears Putin’s road has come to ruin. But Putin opens the negotiations with four nuclear power plants when he only needed Jacks or better wired for demolition. When they didn’t think he would blow the dam either.
That play was to give this play legitimacy. To put sand and add gravitas that he really means it. So, he wants to end the war in a way he and Russia can save face. A way for Putin to stay in power and the Russian Army to have “Peace with Honor” – Richard Nixon
For Putin to stay in power, he must be able to point to some success, and Russia is already beaten on the field. The message in Ukraine now is “Throw down your weapons and come out! There is no need for you to die here! Your enemies are in Moscow not in Ukraine!” That message will resonate and demoralize an already demoralized Russian army. Demoralize them with every growl of their belly or empty ammunition box or cigarette package.
So, the authority pyramid in Russia is questionable and in flux if such orders would dare even be carried out? Hitler wanted to blow up Paris, but the officer in charge refused to give the order because he knew it was wrong. If anyone follows the order to blow up the Nuclear plant, they do so with the knowledge that they will become a bona fide international war criminal with a price on their head. Perhaps unwise, when the dice are still tumbling, and the wheel is still in spin, and no one knows the final answer yet.
Like wise for the Russian big wigs, Oligarchs and brass hats as their future would immediately darken. They just lost a war and aren’t really in a good position to go starting another fight with the toughest guy on the block. If this crime is committed the world court will wear out many ropes on the perpetrators. As the prosecutor asks, “Didn’t you know that it would be wrong and a crime against humanity to blow up a nuclear power plant? It leaves only one other obvious question?
Where are these damn Aliens I’m always hearing about? Always with reports of the Aliens snooping around the missile bases and turning off the nuclear weapons. Come from galaxies far, far away they tell me, to prevent dumb ass humankind from blowing itself to smithereens. Cause, If you’re out there fellas… listen up! We may need your help.
