Time to question their power [1]

Nine people with incredible, unquestioned power
receive unearned, lavish gifts…hour by hour.
Our nine justices benefit from really good deals
like favorable loans, luxurious trips and some fabulous meals
Some very wealthy people spend money and hours
Courting the court members and their extraordinary powers.
What do you think? Is it OK if Justices accept a small bribe
because they’re a member of this powerful tribe?
This is something our Congress must move to correct
because the high court has lost the country’s respect.
We see examples of why…as some Justices squirm
Congress should require a high court limited term.
The lower they sink, the deeper they wallow
it is clear that the court needs rules it must to follow.
Write to the Congress….demand they take action
Maybe thousands of letters will get us some traction.
