Working for the Republicans [1]

I can’t help but wonder who the Virginia Democratic Party is working for. When they refuse to run a Democrat, one who is ready and able to run, and just fucking give the election to the Republican candidate, I gotta wonder why.
I am not on Twitter (though I enjoy reading it) and I’m not a master of clicking into tweets and figuring out the order they go in (I mostly just look at pictures of puppies) but PLEASE click into this tweet if you know how.
A twitter thread is like a tree, you have to click on the right branches. You don’t see the whole tree at once. At least that’s my understanding of it.
x While this fight is a long way from Richmond, @LevarStoney sits on the party steering committee. Will @vademocrats really continue to leave rural Democrats without representation? We heard a lot of talk about doing better after the Youngkin defeat—now is the time for that.

What can you do about this clusterfuck? There are some suggestions here www.dailykos.com/…
Calls, you can make, addresses that can be emailed. Someone suggested a protest. I like that idea. If anyone knows when they are meeting, make a few signs, call the press and stand outside the meeting.
If you follow the above twitter thread, you’ll find that money is mentioned. It’s one of the things that makes “leadership” sit up and pay attention. So, feel free to make your point with bucks.
Look for the tweets by Trevor Southerland and Zach Prukowski, who are some kind of muckety mucks in the party.
“...but there’s nothing illegal or against the party plan about it...”
Trevor Southerland
WTF? Leaving an R+6 district unopposed, handing the election to the Republican candidate isn’t against the plan of the Democratic Party? Yes, it fucking is!!!! If it isn’t it should be.
x President Obama was successful b/c he used a comprehensive 50-state campaign strategy. Virginia Dems should implement a comprehensive strategy across the Commonwealth. Jasmine Lipscomb is a great candidate. Let’s get behind Jasmine!

Our own Brainwrap is pretty pissed about this!
x What exactly is the local Democratic voter/party community's problem with Lipscomb, then?
If it was a choice between her and another candidate, I'd understand personal beefs, but it's literally either her or NO ONE. Is she THAT awful a person?? — Charles Gaba isn't paying for this account. (@charles_gaba) June 23, 2023
The Virginia Party has until Monday the 26th to decide if they’re going to run a Democrat in this 47% minority district; to decide if they’re working for the Republican Party or the Democratic Party.
