Remember what Pastor Martin Niemöller said: "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."
The Republicans have already attacked members of the LGBTQ communities - especially those who are most vulnerable, the trans youngsters - Muslims, Black people, Jews, Purple Heart Families, people with disabilities, refugees and Hispanics. By the time they come for the rest of us, no one will be left.
