PWB Peeps: Cat-A-Log [1]

Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.

Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.

Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.

Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.

There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw.

This is a poem I wrote back in 2004 — it wanted to be illustrated.

However, it could be wrong. 😉

A Cat-alog

My love of cats I can’t resist;

That’s why I’ve made a cat-a-list.

There’s feline words to prove my thesis,

if I don’t make a catachresis.*

When kitties are a bit myopic

results can be just catastrophic.

Though catnaps seem to be quite chronic,

sometimes a cat’s just catatonic.

A lovely link they illustrate

when kitties do concatenate.

A famous feline born in Pisa

is the gorgeous Meowna Lisa.

No cat owner can be a scorner -

they know that cats sleep catty-cornered.

When milk they find, they take a sip;

And who can resist the old catnip?

When kitty’s hair is all a-roam,

does kitty need a catacomb?

Not much escapes -- and little can --

the piercing gaze of a catscan.

The noise is certain to appall

when kitties make a caterwaul.

If cats arrayed themselves for battle,

a troop of cats would be called... cattle?

Doggone! The end! It’s just as well,

since you don’t like my doggerel.

* the use of a word in a way that is not correct, for example, the use of mitigate for militate.

I suppose I should apologize now… 😉
