Nat Geo had a recent piece on mosquitoes. The latest research verifies that some folks are more attractive than others to mosquitoes. I am one of those people!

Some options for preventing skeeter bites:

The Wirecutter recommends several battery-charged mosquito repellents. The CDC recommends, among other things, the use of Picardin, a newish chemical repellent that studies show is effective as Deet but much safer. There are several brands of repellents that use Picardin.

The EPA also has other recommendations.

I hope this doesn’t come across as spam. These are recommendations made by government agencies, and I’m just passing them along!
