Ukrainian animal rescuers. Inspiring and sad. [1]

A short photo essay below from The Guardian showing the work of the incredibly brave, kind and determined Ukrainians who are risking their lives and health to rescue animals trapped in flooded Kherson — the city that was inundated when the Russian filth destroyed the massive dam in the area.
Dog, cats and chickens — they all matter to these wonderful people.
How they get up and do it each day I don’t know but my admiration for them knows no bounds.
There are so many stories about Ukrainians risking their lives to save animals — we had a wonderful one on here last week about the elderly lady going back to her home town to feed animals — ready to risk her life again and again.
There are many ways to help those doing this incredible work — I know many people on here are kind and love animals — perhaps you could google some organizations and help.
I have been trying to find specific groups that are working in Kherson and the area around it but have only found one so far.

But no matter what — the courage of kindness of these wonderful people needs to be seen and celebrated.
