Donald Trump lays a Trap And he caught his prey: Himself [1]

When you are the prey, you know to beware traps. Donald Trump, the man with the fairytale mouth just can’t help himself. He can’t stop talking about how he had those documents, how they are his documents, how he can do what he wants with them. Trump has done more harm to himself than perhaps any defendant in history. Jack Smith didn’t even have to lay trap for Trump. He trapped himself.
Judge Aileen Cannon an obvious Trump supporter who holds Trump’s get out of jail free card may not be so easy. Trump was the one who leaked the indictment, and since the arraignment he is the one who can’t shut up. Seldom does a prosecutor or for that matter a defense lawyer want a trial to occur in public outside of the courtroom, before the jury has even been formed. Perhaps influencing the Jury is why Trump won’t shut up. So Smith has asked Judge Cannon to wire Trump’s jaw shut in this case. Smith asked the Judge to order Trump to stop disclosing evidence in regard to the documents case.
It's an easy call. The Judge should order Trump to be quiet immediately. If she rules in favor of Trump, Smith has grounds for her dismissal. She probably won’t fall for Smith’s first trap. Trump will trap Judge Cannon himself. He won’t be quiet, he won’t stop discussing the case, and she won’t find him in contempt and lock him up. And when she fails to do that, she’ll be off the case.
