David Waldman makes it to the weekend! Oh, and look, we’re here too.
TFG is of course, unusually buoyant, but that doesn’t mean that he’s not sinking. This might seem like the last million times Donald Trump stepped in it, but this time by golly, Trump is in trouble. More Gop talking points are failing, more Gop rats are swimming for shore. Even Judge Aileen Cannon is getting antsy.
You might ask, how does this spell trouble for the Biden administration? Well, perhaps you aren’t asking that, but Republicans sure are. Republicans might never have a lot of evidence or logic concerning President Joe Biden, but they always have a lot of questions. And a lot of practice confusing their being prosecuted for being persecuted. They’ll feel better once everything goes their way… although that will take some doing.
Donald had all sorts of problems finding the legal advice that he was looking for, until he quit asking lawyers for that advice. Unfortunately for Trump, the other side still uses lawyers, who continue to concentrate on TFG’s breaking of laws.
Airman Jack Teixeira only wanted to win arguments with teenagers, but it looks as if the law has become a problem for him as well.
Meanwhile, MAGA wants the shutdown that Kevin McCarthy stole from them, and doesn’t plan to wait two long years to get it.
