Note: I didn’t see a Coffee Hour this afternoon, so I decided to post this.

Welcome to the Street Prophets Coffee Hour cleverly hidden at the intersection of religion and politics. This is an open thread where we can share our thoughts and comments about the day. The Japanese attached glass floats to their fishing nets. Sometimes these glass floats would be torn loose in storms and then journey across the Pacific Ocean, arriving at the beaches of Oregon and Washington where they were eagerly sought by beachcombers. The North Lincoln County Historical Museum in Lincoln City, Oregon, has a display case filled with Japanese glass fishing floats.
