Then, on the rest of the menu, a teacher group sued over a Tennessee law that bans the deduction of members’ dues from their paychecks; the Senate narrowly confirmed Jared Bernstein to be the chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers; and, federal assistance is sought for northeastern vineyards and apple orchards hit by a severe late-season frost.
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where France accused Russia of faking websites to sow confusion and disinformation about the Ukraine war; and, three Kosovo police officers were injured during the arrest of an organizer of the Serb protests that injured 30 NATO-led peacekeepers.
