These people are so #$!*#$ unethical and immoral, it's flabbergasting [1]

I hate these people. These are some of the most dishonest and unethical people in the history of the world! That's not an overstatement. I am livid! These bastards! I don't regularly use this type of language, but I am very, very angry for a very good reason 😡😡😡!!!

The republicans have been contemplating how to respond to the 49 page indictment. They were trying whatsboutism. That's because they couldn't defend Trump based upon the law or based upon facts. But the whatsboutism on documents was failing because the document cases are so different and Secretary Clinton isn't in office and she, likewise, lacked intent according to Republican FBI Director James Comey.

So, they reached for Russian disinformation.

So, Rudy went to Ukraine to look for dirt on President Biden. He encountered a suspended FBI Agent, likely suspended because he would not arrest the insurrectionists, and this person repeats a claim told to him by a person whose reliability is unknown and the claim was never verified, not by the suspended agent nor by the FBI. This claim was written on a FD-1023 (I believe that's the name of the form) and Comer who's a liar and disgusting had ALREADY seen the document and knew there was ZERO VERIFICATION for the claim. As a result, the FBI didn't want to release the document as it only promote noise and claims that are, again, UNVERIFIED. Before the REPUBLICAN FBI DIRECTOR WRAY had only allowed Comer and Raskin to see the document, but not take it out. The claim is that an executive from Burisma Holdings, Hunter's previous company, paid $5 million to President Biden and to Hunter Biden so that the corrupt Ukrainian official would not do something to harm the company. Since Comer threatened Wray with a subpoena (and consequences if wasn't given), then it was released. House Republicans, almost certainly knowing it was false (this has been out for years and it was abandoned by Barr's DOJ AND a Trump Administration overseeing the FBI) , are pushing the claims on all manner of internet sites to lower President Biden's poll numbers, prompted by Trump's indictment.



So, Comer had already seen the document and knew that it had not been authenticated. He knew that there was no reason to force it to be released other than political since it had not been authenticated. He knows that they have had this document and heard that one claim for years and since the claim had not been verified in the years since it was first told to the "source", there is NO chance, ZERO PROBABILITY, of it getting confirmed going forward.

So, again, the ONE AND ONLY REASON TO RELEASE IT IS POLITICAL. Comer's threat compelled Wray to release it. Now, it is being promoted all over the internet now. (Many rightwing nitwits think that this is new. ) He and they are pushing this to LOWER PRESIDENT BIDEN'S APPROVAL RATING because they are afraid 😳😣 of the impact of THIS INDICTMENT (I take the previous one seriously as well) on soft / weak republican voters, especially Never Trumpers, and on independents.

They are pushing something that they know is false in order to smear President Biden to lower his approval rating and poll numbers because they are afraid of the impact of this indictment upon Donald Trump's poll numbers.
