Hatefullness. It permeates far too much of society with overwhelming sadness and pain, and leaves families to forever mourn the loss of loved ones.

Shawn Jackson, 18, and his father, Lorenzo Smith, 36, were both killed Tuesday in the gunfire, which sent hundreds fleeing in panic outside the state capital’s Altria Theater after the graduation ceremony for Huguenot High School. Five other people were wounded by gunfire, and at least 12 more suffered other injuries or were treated for anxiety due to the mayhem, according to police.
The combination of guns, and the hate and anger so many seem to harbor toward their brothers and sisters leads to the outcome we see daily, and it is getting worse.
There are so many millions of guns on the streets of America- it will take generations for those to disappear. Besides needed gun control, we must soothe and eliminate the hate, and the anger that drives so many to murderous choices, either ignorant or not caring that they will spend the rest of their life in prison. So many lives destroyed.
Too much hate. Too little love.
We must rise, and overcome. Somehow...
