Songs about depression. [1]

As I wrote yesterday I am going thru a bout of severe depression. I wrote to get ideas about how to possibly loose the funk and the Kos community came up with many suggestions and ideas, and I was blessed enough that the diary was recommended.

I am taking several of the ideas to heart, since if they have worked in the past for others, perhaps they will work for me.

With 5 dollars in my bank account,being under 55 and living more than likely for the rest of my life in a nursing home, with hospital trips every other month due to either COPD flare or high levels of CO2 in my system which means I crash and cannot be woken up, I set myself up for this funk I am in.

Several people suggested delving into music to try to get the edge of the depression,, and since I often post diaries on or about music, I thought I would combine the two topics and see which songs people can come up with relating to depression and/or overcoming it.

REM is one of my favorite bands, and Everybody Hurts I think sums up depression very well.
