Volunteers arrested at West Hollywood Pride for asking Sheriffs to stop laughing at Pride displays [1]

This is absolutely horrific. Three volunteers working at West Hollywood Pride this weekend were just violently targeted and arrested by LASD deputies for the “crime” of asking them to stop laughing at Pride displays and hurting the cops’ feelings.
Pride is no longer safe for queer people as long as fascist police are allowed to act with impunity against the LGBTQ+ community. It should be noted that two of the arrestees were present at the recent anti-LGBTQ+ protest that turned violent at a local elementary school. One of the volunteers is being held on a ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLAR bond.
This is fascism, y’all. This, right here. We’re not even safe in California if the cops can just arrest us like this.

The fascist Right is literally trying to erase the entire LGBTQ+ community and we are the canaries in the coal mine for fascism that is currently rearing its ugly head in America. And as everyone who lives in Los Angeles probably knows by now, the LASD is chock full of corrupt officers and gang members as Sheriff Villaneuva turned a blind eye to the problem for so many years.
We may be rid of him but obviously the problems with the LASD still exist. What happened in WeHo is EXACTLY why Pride organizers have such a tough time with allowing a police presence at these events. If they’re just going to arrest people for the crime of speaking their minds, how are they supposed to actually PROTECT Pride attendees?
Remember, the oligarchs that run this country are trying to divide us by race, class, gender, and sexual orientation lines so they can rob and steal with impunity. And with the fascist Republican Party AND law enforcement on their side they are winning.
The REAL mind virus in this country is fascism, NOT wokism.
