Trump had this to say on the word “woke” in an event in Des Moines -

What do you think is going on here, given that the entire MAGA movement is enraptured by that word and they use it as cudgel at every opportunity against the sane people of this country?
Is it because DeSantis has made that word a centerpiece of his administration and his campaign?
Is trump worried about DeSantis and others jumping into the primary fight? He really shouldn’t be - a crowded field works to his advantage.
Is trump trying to capture some of the “woke” vote?

In any case, let’s not be distracted by this daily noise from the right (this is a silly, light-hearted diary); we have work to do to make sure our message gets out to the electorate; that we are the adults in the room and the future is bright with Democrats at the helm.
