Mike Pence Readies Himself For All The Wedgies Trump Will Give Him Starting June 7th. [1]

Mike Pence is finally going to follow the call of that voice he claims is God’s and declare for president on June 7th in Iowa. This is due to the fact that unlike the rock and roll song by R Dean Taylor Pence’s home state of Indiana really does not want him. And what will ensue is Trump will be free to give Pence wedgies and noogies for all to see. This will be some really low brow and cheap entertainment for those of us who feel that moral and political cowards deserve whatever humiliating treatment they have so richly earned.

And Pence has more than earned the abuse that Trump and others will dump on him.

This is the canned shit that Pence is going to pass out to the Republican masses:

Pence is expected to officially announce his candidacy on Wednesday, June 7, after doing swings through primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire. As part of his pitch, he’s set to frame himself as a traditional “Reagan conservative” concerned about fiscal responsibility, but with a heavier emphasis on social issues like abortion. It’s unclear, however, how much of a constituency that message and his candidacy have, given the party’s shift toward populism and the staunch support many voters still have for former President Donald Trump. “This campaign is going to reintroduce Mike Pence to the country as his own man, not as vice president, but as a true economic, social, and national security conservative — a Reagan conservative,” Scott Reed, a co-chair for Pence’s Committed to America Super PAC, told reporters in May. Pence’s goal is to rally a coalition of evangelical voters and more traditional fiscal and social conservatives as he tries to defeat Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and the other competitors in a crowded primary field.

Emphasis is mine on the “reintroduce” bs. Who in the GOP does NOT KNOW who Pence is? Pence branded himself into the psyche of the two flavors of modern day Republican voters: Never Trumpers and everybody else who thinks Trump’s shit does not stink. And both types hate Pence.

“With the red meat Republican base voters, they think he betrayed Trump on January 6,” says Gunner Ramer, the political director of the Republican Accountability Project, an anti-Trump GOP group that’s not affiliated with any candidates. “The Never Trump Republicans don’t like him because he worked for Trump

And as Mr. Ramer points out, Reagan conservatives no longer exist in the modern GOP. It’s all Trumpism and the sliver that are Never Trumpers. That is it.

The question, however, is whether a large enough contingent of Republican voters is interested in this message and whether it would differentiate him enough from a packed field. Pence has called for Republicans to resist “unprincipled populists” and ideas that have taken hold since Trump’s presidency, including isolationist foreign policy and anti-democratic sentiments. Many Republican voters are increasingly open to these stances. “Mike Pence is making a pitch that would make sense if it was 15 or 20 years ago,” says Ramer.

The only question with regards to Pence is WHEN does it become impossible for reporters to stiffle laughter when mentioning Pence on the air? This is going to be a rehash of high school when the bully kept thinking of more creative ways to humiliate his victim and the rest of the mob laughing and thinking, “Thank God that is not me!” The rest of us may hate bullying, but reporters are one of the “cool kids” who never get the treatment. In fact, they are part of the mechanism of bullying.

But we should have no empathy for Pence. He could have stood up to Trump after Jan 6th, but he chose to try and save his dreams of power and let Trump off the hook. Pence could have gone on TV during the Jan 6th Committee’s investigation and told what he knows, but he gave the House Committee the middle finger. And he fought even testifying to Jack Smith’s grand jury with a cock and bull story of how he was actually a member of the legislative body during Jan 6th. And he still protects Trump to this day by saying there should be NO INDICTMENTS of Trump over that little insurrection.

I hope Trump pulls Pence’s underwear over his head.
