A pragmatic solution... [1]

I was driving across the UK recently, and I noticed that the freeway services now make explicit provision for multiple genders in the restroom arrangements.

Eventually, when society has had time to normalize the change, people will probably just use the restroom of the gender with which they identify. Until then, though, this seems like a good pragmatic solution.

It’s noticeable that the whole ‘trans bathroom thing’ isn’t an issue here. Presumably because the people responsible for sorting things out decided to do exactly that, instead of turning the issue into raw meat to feed the base.

Another indication that they’re moving with the times is that the freeway services also has a room set aside for parents to argue over child custody*.
