What’s wrong with “woke?” Woke, wake, awaken, aware. In any universe, this is a good thing, no? “Woke” is getting a bad press. Why is “woke” a bad thing? Why doesn’t anyone address this?

We should be celebrating wokeness, not vilifying it. I’m proud to be woke. Am I missing something here?

Do the conservatives get to reverse the meaning of a word and tell us it’s bad? Do we go with a construct that dulls our wits? Does it seem everything is up-side-down? Is our reality like Alice’s in Wonderland?
