There are huge elections in Virginia this year, with every seat in both chambers of the Statehouse up for grabs. PDA-VA has endorsed a number of excellent progressive candidates for the Senate, including our guest this Sunday, Heidi Drauschak. The Virginia primary is on June 20th and early voting has already begun.We'll also get an update from California. The State Democratic Party is holding its convention in Los Angeles this weekend. Alan and many other PDAers will be attending; and will share their reflections with the Town Hall.Last, we'll have an open forum discussion about the debt ceiling crisis, and how progressives might be able to exert influence and help avert a disaster and prevent unnecessary damage to poor and working class communities.See you on Sunday.Alan Minsky for the PDA National Team
