Kid Rock annihilating Bud Light beer.
In response to a Bud Light promotion featuring trans activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney, conservatives vowed never to drink an Anheuser-Busch -- which is part of Belgium-based brewing giant AB Inbev-- product again. Some called for a boycott of the company. Others, like right-wing musician Kid Rock took a more hands-on approach, buying several cases of Bud Light, and then filming himself shooting them.
As Newsweek’s Giulia Carbonaro reported, “Bud Light's partnership with Mulvaney was announced on April 2 by the 26-year-old influencer on her Instagram account. She put up a post promoting the beer brand's NCAA's March Madness contest, sparking calls from conservatives to boycott the brand.”
An outraged and highly motivated Seth Weathers had an idea: How about creating a “woke free” Ultra Right Beer?
As The Daily Dot’s Claire Goforth recently reported, Weathers, “is on a mission to make money off conservative outrage” (
https://www.dailydot.com/debug/seth-weathers-dirty-delete/). Goforth noted that “Weathers’ TikTok is one long promotion for his T-shirts and other items attacking conservatives’ enemies and lauding their heroes, like that couple who pulled guns on Black Lives Matter protesters for walking through their neighborhood. “
Goforth pointed out that “Weathers previously worked as a political strategist, including a stint as the Georgia state director for former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, which ended mysteriously after just two months.” Ever loyal to Trump, Weathers is highly critical of both Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and Republican South Carolina Senator Tim Scott for daring to take on Trump.
According to Daily Dot’s David Covucci,.Weathers, a conservative influencer, not new to right-wing entrepreneurialism, “previously hawked ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ wrapping paper from Christmas, riding a wave of anti-Joe Biden sentiment among the right into massive sales,” recently introduced the public to “Ultra Right” beer (
https://ultrarightbeer.com/).
According to the 38-year-old Weathers, the “woke mind virus” is now in beer. “America’s been drinking beer from a company that doesn’t even know which restroom to use,” Weathers said in the announcement, over an image of trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney’s announcement of their Bud Light can. “That’s why I created conservative dads’ ultra-right, 100% woke-free beer.”
Covucci reported that In the ad, “Weathers smashes a Bud Light can with a baseball bat, mirroring other conservatives who have gone to ever-increasing lengths to destroy the Bud Light they now abhor.”
A six-pack of 12 oz. red-white-and-blue cans costs $19.99. (A 12-pack of 12oz cans of Bud Light, at a Walmart in Chicago will cost you $6.75. “Ultra Right” is also free from some of the alcohol you might want to drink as it clocks in at 4% ABV.
The “Ultra Beer” website points out:
America’s been drinking beer from a company that doesn’t even know which restroom to use.
That’s why we made Conservative Dad’s ULTRA RIGHT 100% Woke-Free American Beer.
If you know which restroom to use, you know what beer you should be drinking. Stop giving money to companies who hate our values.
100% made in Americain Gwinnett County, Georgia.

The “Ultra Right” website also offers and ULTRA Right Beer t-shirt, ULTRA RIGHT Frosted Beer Glass, ULTRA RIGHT Beer hat, a “Freedom Speaks Up” hoodie and ULTRA RIGHT Beer hoodie.
In early April, The Daily Dot’s Claire Goforth noted that “While critics of Anheuser-Busch previously pointed out that the company has donated to politicians who have pushed for transphobic legislation, it’s also done Pride-based marketing campaigns and given money to LGBTQ causes for decades. In 2022, the Human Rights Campaign rated it as one of the best places for LGBTQ people to work.”
According to Goforth’s May 26 piece, “Weathers was extremely active on Twitter during and after the Capitol riot. Most of those tweets remain on his account to this day, including him wondering whether slain rioter Ashli Babbitt was antifa and congratulating the Capitol police for showing restraint because they ‘had full reason to shoot a lot of people today.’”
He deleted a tweet that read: “Trump and the Republican Party are losing support faster than anything I’ve ever seen.”
These days, as Goforth reported, Weathers is back on the Trump bandwagon, “often gush[ing] online about how much he supports his former employer. Maybe he realized it’s a helluva lot easier to sell Trump merch that way.”
