Why is our country giving a minute to anything Republicans are saying or doing? [1]

Republicans are completely lost these days. Why are we continuing to give a rat’s ass what they are saying, doing, or talking about? They are obviously on the way out and I don’t think by giving them airtime and giving their commentary credence we’re doing anything good for our country or the world. We really should be getting busy with the art of governing. Learning how to do public speaking better and getting our thinking out there.
Climate change is the biggest most obvious threat. More and more people are recognizing it as such. Does it matter that Republicans don’t agree? I think less and less. So, please, let’s stop focusing on them so much and giving them anything they say or do airtime. It's time to take the ball and run down the field. Look at Minnesota — congratulations on what that state has accomplished in one legislative session. I’m sadly embarrassed to see what is happening in my own state of Oregon. Our Republican senators are stopping legislation that would help Oregonians — by walking out.
Anyway, a little late-night rant — but really, it’s way past time that we give Republicans airtime and focus on their blathering. We have work to do.
