Oil companies continue to rake in the dough

Is it people don’t care or they just simply don’t know?

Exxon Mobile reported profits of more than $55 billion bucks

and they get those big tax breaks…now, this “really sucks”

We know fossil fuel use is behind climate driven disaster

and the reason polar ice is melting…. faster and faster

Big oil lobbies congress and big oil gets its way

While we mere citizens are the ones who must pay.

We bear the brunt of this frightening climate ruin

What on dear earth is our Congress “doin”?
