Yeah it IS funny!

So the NYT is reporting that Ron DeSantis has finally decided to announce his candidacy for president—and get this, it’s via an interview on Twitter with Elon Musk:

. . The Florida governor is expected to appear on a live audio conversation with Mr. Musk, the social platform’s owner, on Wednesday evening. www.nytimes.com/...

For some reason he must think this will be, uh, good? for his campaign. Perhaps Elon is making a big fat donation?

And just in case announcing on Twitter isn’t enough, Ron has another trick up his sleeve:

The governor has also gathered donors on Wednesday at the Four Seasons in Miami to began raising funds for his campaign.

Let’s just hope it’s the actual hotel they have booked, and not a cremation center with a porn shop around the corner. In either case however, most fitting.

So tune in on Wednesday to see if Twitter helps Ron! Or if Ron helps Twitter! Or—crossing fingers!-- if they can both help sink each other into the putrid mire that is the right wing political sphere these days.
