Slowly we turn..

Federal prosecutors overseeing the investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s handling of classified documents have issued a subpoena for information about Mr. Trump’s business dealings in foreign countries since he took office, according to two people familiar with the matter.

CNN: "Trump, when informed by his lawyer about the subpoena and how he should respond, asked if there was any way to fight it."

That is evidence of Espionage Act "willful retention," 18 USC 793(e), and Obstruction, 18 USC 1519.

Donald Trump doubled down on his attacks of former White House adviser Alyssa Farah Griffin on Saturday night, lashing out at her, CNN, and women he perceives as enemies in multiple posts on his Truth Social platform. Trump earlier on Saturday said that Griffin, who told the media that the former president's allegedly inappropriate behavior toward young women staffers was an "open secret" in his administration, was a "loser" when she worked for him and that she's a loser "now." Hours later, Trump mentioned her again, citing unnamed sources in saying that people want Griffin "OUT" of her position as a co-host on "The View." "Wow! Word is that they are revolting at the 'View' and CNN, and want Farrah OUT!" he wrote on Truth Social. "She tried to delete out her words, but we got them ALL. I don’t see how she lasts because this 'stuff' shows what a phony she is. MUCH MORE TO COME!" The former president goes on to ask CNN for another town hall. www.rawstory.com/...

x .@SarahLongwell25: "No amount of contemptible behavior from Donald Trump toward women creates political problems for him with GOP primary voters. It didn’t in 2016 or 2020 and it isn’t now."https://t.co/g6Rv9EAgBh — Republican Accountability (@AccountableGOP) May 22, 2023

Did Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump, and others, know that when they were making claims about the 2020 election being stolen, they were spreading blatant lies and propaganda, or were they true believers? The answer may lie in a lawsuit filed by Nicole Dunphy, a former employee of Giuliani, who says that she’ll testify about what he had to say about the plan — in 2019. In her complaint, Dunphy describes horrifying experiences of sexual abuse and maltreatment, but that’s not her whole story. She also shares that Giuliani told her there was a plan in place to claim fraud, insist Trump had won, and fight the election outcome if he lost — and that he told her all of this in 2019, well before the election even took place. She also witnessed that there were meetings where this was discussed between Giuliani and Lev Parnas. occupydemocrats.com/...

x TAPPER: I don't know that it's fair to say Biden was nowhere to be found this weekend. He was at the G7 Summit in Japan.

NANCY MACE: He wasn't here in the US negotiating.

The Penn Club, the exclusive New York City club for those connected to the University of Pennsylvania, wanted to avoid drama, so they hung former President Donald Trump's portrait behind a sofa. I can think of better places for it, but we won't get into that. "There remains a controversial picture of Donald Trump in the boardroom of the Penn Club," a source told Page Six. "They have tried to 'hide it' by putting it low on the wall, basically behind a piece of furniture." crooksandliars.com/...
