Oddly Knobs

We got two creeks that cross, and right where they do, we got a bridge. The knobs are why. Big rocks, and that's why the creeks cross. And that's why we got a bridge there. The knobs. Big rocks. That's where this town, our town, always was. Still is. Well, some surveyors showed up, gosh a ways back, handsome lads, they were polite but too busy to be bothered. When they were moving on, one of them asked, what is this place? Oddly, the Knobs, came a reply. Just some kid. We'd never thought of this as a place before. Wouldn't you know it though, we ended up on a map.
