During the hearings this week, Jim Jordan got all apoplectic because the FBI is going after Catholic churches because they had received reports about a potential anti-abortion action that could cause harm. Turns out it was not as big a deal as thought, so the FBI decided not to follow through. Jordan is all against the FBI for going after Catholics.
He seems to have forgotten the GOP going after Catholics in Bristol County MA during the Trump/Miller years.
These are two blogs about the time the Sheriff of Bristol County Ma reported his Catholic parish to Steven Miller on multiple occasions because it was being nice to immigrants.
Obviously, the FBI would have done the investigation.
Nothing was said by the GOP when those multiple email reports were discovered.
It was okay to report a Catholic parish since they seemed to be pro-immigrant, Good Samaritan and all that, but not when they support something you do.
