A June 1st default is Trump's second go at insurrection after J6. Will anyone stop him? [1]

President Trump told the Secret Service on J6 to turn off the magnetometers, effectively allowing armed Magas to join the crowd going to the Capitol. Did no one in the Secret Service see this as a dangerous turn of events? Did anyone in the Secret Service ensure there would be an armed counterforce to intercept the thousands of armed Magas? It doesn't seem so. For all practical purposes, the Capitol and the people inside were utterly exposed and vulnerable to Trump's berzerk Magas.

Even though Trump's attempted coup on J6 was unsuccessful, the former president is trying again with an insurrection by other means, the debt ceiling crisis. A U.S. default on paying already incurred debt lawfully legislated by Congress would be a successful coup that would economically destroy the United States and facilitate what Trump originally wanted from the J6 insurrection, a return to power. The Republican Freedom Caucus will not allow a deal or compromise with Democrats because what that caucus wants, what Trump wants, is a default, not a deal.

Biden and the Democrats have had 138 days since the start of the 118th Congress and a Republican-controlled House to determine what Blue would do when Red uses the debt ceiling to ruin the United States and take power in 2024. The Freedom Caucus, Ms. Greene, and Trump have taken down the magnetometers. June 1st is only days away. First J6, now J1. Who will protect the nation? Who will protect the world? The ordinary citizen, at this point, remains unprotected and vulnerable.
